Position/Title:    Digital Operations Manager

Location:            Shanghai    

Reports to:         Director, Digital Data Operations & Optimization

The digital operation manger is responsible for managing and monitoring data tools, analytical platform, business operation dashboard etc. digital data related applications to fuel the growth of Tapestry’s online and offline business in China. Unlock data foundation and CDP data capabilities to optimize multi-channel technology tools continuously to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention across the omni portfolio of our family of brands. S/he will deliver information, insights, and recommendations to optimize Tapestry’s digital business, while supporting a data-driven culture. S/he will champion how data and analytics transform the way we work, the way we engage with our customers, and the way we drive business value. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, deep understanding of eCommerce business, omni-channel, media tracking, business analytics, and willingness to work within a highly matrixed organization with passion and curiosity for digital marketing and media.

 

Key China market responsibilities will include the following:

  • Measure, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators for eCommerce, e.g., traffic, conversion, AT, UPT across Tapestry
  • Measure, monitor, and analyze performance media key indicators for ecommerce, e.g., CTR, CPC, CVR, ROI across Tapestry
  • Develop and execute measurement and reporting which accurately reflects business results and informs future decisions
  • Make recommendations for improving targeting and engagement strategies and processes
  • Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity
  • Design effective and impactful reports/visualizations for business and technical audiences
  • Partner with Brand Marketing, Ecommerce teams, CRM, retail to capture measurement and analytics requirements for business success
  • Identify opportunities for site optimization based on web analytics data
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional partners and global counterparts on web analytics best practices to maintain alignment across Tapestry brands and regions
  • Perform user acceptance testing for tracking enhancements prior to launch
  • Troubleshoot web analytics tracking concerns and tag/pixel implementation in partnership with e-commerce business partners
  • Partner with brand eCommerce teams and Analytics team to design, develop, implement, and track conversion optimization programs
  • Optimize platform and 3rd party tools including navigation, product presentation, recommendations, and other elements of the digital experience
  • Keep curiosity of digital, media and ecommerce trend. Try new things and provide innovative idea.

 

The accomplished individual will possess... 

  • 3-5 years of web and digital marketing analytics experience
  • Hands-on, advanced skills with common web analytics and data visualization tools including tableau, power BI etc.
  • Hands-on advanced skills with digital media platforms including major e-commerce, hero digital media/APPs
  • Solid statistics background, hands-on big data processing experience is plus
  • Experience SQL a strong plus
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a focus on driving revenue
  • Experience working cross functionally and interacting with partners at all levels
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong vendor management skills

This role will report to the Tapestry China Director, Digital Data Operations & Optimization, which supports all Tapestry brands
