PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
- Lead Integration design best practices for various integration programs and projects
- Drive the Tapestry integration solutions and recommend industry standards/best practice.
- Engage and guide technologists i.e. Developers, Architects on the entire SDLC phases – Design, Development and Deployment.
- Lead the architecture and design of APIs for large enterprise with the intent of achieving the goal of a Composable enterprise
- Experience with Domain Driven Design concepts in integrations designs
- Solid understanding of the core concepts of Business Process Management
- Define and enforce architecture principles & standards; lead Integration design reviews
- Guide a team of Architects and Developers on IBM Integration stack (ACE/Datapower/API Connect / Cloud Pak for Integration) and Informatica integration technology design and development
- Define & evangelize best-practice integration patterns across applications
- Drive integration-specific aspects of enterprise and solution architectures
- Partner with other architects to enable integration strategy & standardize/modernize integration across the enterprise
- Lead integration experiments (e.g. POCs, prototypes, pilots)
- Provide oversight to 3rd party vendors involved in end-to-end integration
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
- Over ten years’ experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions
- Hands on experience with Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) platforms
- Demonstrated experiences designing services integrations with IBM Integration Stack (Ace / Data power / API Connect) and Cloud Pak for Integration. Experience with Mulesoft a plus as we are evaluating future road map for iPaas.
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns, methods and technologies e.g. APIs (REST, SOAP etc.), SOA, BPM, ESB, EDI, ETL, message-oriented middleware, event-driven integration, micro-services
- Deep hand-on large scale implementation experience with API Platform
- Experience with API development and managing a full lifecycle API development platform
- Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters
- Experience with On-premise/ Cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices/standards. Experience with MUnit, Maven and Jenkins
- Experience developing & enabling governance, best practices and reusable components in the integration space
- Excellent communication skills & ability to influence key technical & non-technical stakeholders; organizationally savvy
- Experience with ETLs esp. Informatica preferred
- Experience with Retail business is preferred
- Experience with Streaming platform e.g. Kafka is good to have
- Familiar with China Digital/Omni landscape and understand China consumer eco environment
