We are seeking an experienced SAP FTP Manager with strong expertise in SAP MM (Material Management) to lead the Forecast-to-Produce work stream in the IT organization. The ideal candidate will combine deep SAP supply chain expertise with retail industry knowledge. Experience integrating SAP FTP with PLM system, Planning system, Vendor PO management system, Vendor Payment management, Transportation Management System and WMS, along with SAP SD proficiency and ABAP knowledge (code reading and debugging is mandatory) is highly valued.  Excellent communication skills in English are essential for collaborating with global teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Forecast-to-Produce solutions to meet business needs.
  • Partner with business partners to address pain points, enhance and optimize business process flow and system solution.  
  • Drive E2E integration with supply chain ecosystems (PLM system, Planning System, WMS etc.) while ensuring SAP standard best practices.  
  •  Analyze business processes, identify requirements, and propose effective SAP solutions.
  •  Work with SAP development team to design, develop and debug ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, user exits, enhancements and forms etc.
  • Integrate MM modules with other SAP modules such as SD/FI/CO.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the system.
  •  Create and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and user guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and junior team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module.
  • Deep experience of SAP integration with surrounding systems and lead large or medium scale project implementation with S4 HANA.
  • Ability to read/debug standard/custom programs, validate enhancement implementations, collaborate with developers on development, bug fixes, performance fine-tuning is mandatory.
  • Familiar with EDI/IDOC processes, integration and enhancement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, Proven troubleshooting skills for configuration/interface failures
  • A good understanding of supply chain environment and landscape in terms of the relevant services and solutions is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in supply chain related business processes and operations
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and in global teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP best practices and business processes.

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

 

Language requirement:

Proficiency in English with a strong preference for Business Mandarin speaking to converse with vendors and stakeholders
