The Manager, IT, E-Commerce and Omni Business Partner is responsible for managing various types of digital/Ecomm projects, enhancements and day-to-day system support around marketing activities, and lead cross-functional project team members and vendors to achieve business growth demand.

 

The person in this position will have responsibility for system design, implementation, improvement and support on E-Commerce and marketing sites, and integration with associated systems such as CRM, CMS, OMS, payment gateway, Analytics, Social Media, databases, etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with the E-comm/Digital departments across Asia (Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.) to understand business requests and prioritize business' needs, and translate the business requirements into system solutions from conceptualization to end.
  • Analysis, design, testing and ongoing maintenance & support for E-Commerce related systems across Asia.
  • Plan, manage and implement various projects in E-comm/Digital systems area. Those include, but not limited to, developing and maintaining the project plan, scope, budget and schedule.
  • To lead the implementation of system enhancements and new systems through the project life cycle leveraging both internal and external resources. Ensures deliverables such as Project Charter, Business Requirement, Functional/Technical design, configuring systems, providing guidance to analysts/developers, system testing, coordinating user testing, deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Manage the relationship with the vendors regionally as well as the counterpart of various IT teams globally.
  • Collaborate with US and Asia Tapestry IT team to improve and maintain E-Commerce related systems to ensure consistency and compliance (SOX / PCIDSS).

 

Education/Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in a similar role with proven track record in delivering Ecomm projects in Japan market, enhancements and on-going system maintenance across range of digital technologies.
  • Experience and knowledge in ITIL, SDLC and project management.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of E-Commerce related systems Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred (contents management system, order management system, payment gateway system and warehouse management system, etc.) to support marketing activities such as promotion, campaign, sales events, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge with social media and its integration to other systems (Social Commerce experience is plus)
  • Experience in deploying Web Analysis tool (e.g. Adobe/SiteCatalyst, Google Analytics, etc.) and its configuration are plus
  • Experience in delivering E-Commerce across multiple digital channels (web, mobile, portal, tablet and 3rd party E-Commerce platforms)
  • Experience and knowledge with HTML5, web services integration and server-end application technologies (Javascript, CSS, SQL, Java, .Net, etc.)
  • UX/UI design skill is a plus
  • Experience and knowledge in compliance standards (SOX / PCIDSS) and Fraud Protection solutions
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in Japanese and English (and Chinese and Korean are plus), with experiences in partnering with business clients, vendors and other IT team members to design and implement systems solutions are desired.
