Key Responsibilities

 

Architecture Leadership

  • Define and evolve the enterprise application architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead solution architecture for omni-channel commerce platforms (e.g., eCommerce, OMS, POS).
  • Architect smart retail solutions integrating WeCom, IoT, and edge computing for enhanced store experiences.
  • Design scalable AI foundations including data pipelines, model deployment, and governance frameworks.

 

Engineering Excellence

  • Establish and promote best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud-native development.
  • Drive architectural reviews, technical design documentation, and solution governance.
  • Mentor engineering teams on architectural principles and technical decision-making.

 

Collaboration & Influence

  • Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Cooperate with integration team, to define the suitable integration flow between digital applications and enterprise applications like SAP S4.
  • Work together with cloud infrastructure team to provide governance on deployment architecture and align with best practice of Tapestry cloud management.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution design.
  • Experience with MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).
  • Solid experience of Java development, familiar with the development practice based on Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and cloud-native component
  • Familiar with modern components includes memory cache, relationship data and NoSQL database.
  • Hands-on experience of backend application performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of Chinese retail ecosystem and digital platforms (e.g., WeChat, Alibaba Cloud).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing omni-channel commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of retail technologies, especially smart store solutions and WeCom integrations.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English & Mandarin for communication & collaboration with overseas technical team
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
