In addition to the duties detailed in the sales associate job description, sales leads assume additional responsibility within the store. Specific duties include responsibility for opening and closing procedures. Sales leads assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager with client service, sales, productivity, and operational functions. Ensures the adherence to the Stuart Weitzman’s concept and culture; ensures maximum profitability and compliance with Stuart Weitzman’s objectives and policies. Leads do not have the authority to hire, administer disciplinary action or terminate any member of the store team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities as ‘’Stuart as Merchant’’.

 

A Stuart as Merchant is one who takes pride of the business. Is an ambassador to all store, people and product, generating sales opportunities and working to build customer preference for the brand.

Store

  • Open and close the store.
  • Appropriately react and handle emergencies and loss prevention issues when opening or closing the store (in the absence of exempt team).
  • Create and execute the store mini-meetings and zoning.
  • Ensure that standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained by current company standards
  • Set-up merchandising presentations that adhere to Stuart Weitzman concept.
  • Assist in maintaining standards of safety and cleanliness of stock room, lockers, bathrooms, etc.
  • Salesfloor ambassador in home store; resource to help those active in the program
  • Encourages Salesfloor participation and teaches methods for success
  • Review Weekly sales reports for Salesfloor; educate and elevate with the team
  • Be present for all Salesfloor conference calls; directives, launches

 

Product

  • Ensure that Stuart Weitzman’s merchandising concepts are set up and maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained by the team.
  • Ensure that there is always a follow up on newness regarding product knowledge for all associates.
