Primary Purpose:

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring all operational aspects driven out of operating a fleet of stores are delivered to a high standard.  This role coordinates store projects, efficiency processes, manages supply chain and vendor relationships and takes responsibility for all facilities and maintenance issues at store level across Europe.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to...

 

  • Coordinate and execute store opening, refurbishment and expansion projects across Europe
  • Manage supply chain and vendor relationships across Europe, managing pan-European supply- and packaging accounts, renegotiating and/or implementing new vendor contracts
  • Take accountability for budgeting and forecasting operational costs across the Stuart Weitzman store fleet
  • Oversee all maintenance, facilities and health & safety related matters across Europe
  • Focus on continuous improvement of store back of house areas and systems, with emphasis on efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Multi Managers, Store Managers, Corporate offices, ISPC) to deliver operational solutions for stores
  • Take ownership for CE quality control, running and reviewing performance reports and auditing that services rendered are to a high standard and cost effective.
  • Lead on new operational business initiatives that will promote enhanced systems and processes

  • Solid Operations and Managerial experience in a fast paced retail environment
  • A solutions focused and resourceful approach; ability to work autonomously and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills, and proven track record in influencing at all levels and building relationships
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel across Europe to meet the needs of the business
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to use own initiative and react quickly to shifting priorities
  • Experience in procurement of new vendors for new countries and new services
  • Strong knowledge of, and ability to use, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
