Job Title:  Associate Allocator, North America

Summary:  The Associate Allocator is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, analytical individual who is a key driver of the omnichannel North America business. This person is detail and process oriented and enjoys applying creative thinking and problem solving to help optimize the business.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute allocation strategies with an understanding of sales trend, store capacity, and stock to sales ratio
  • Allocate, analyze and manage inventory levels at both distribution center and store by effectively utilizing appropriate strategies and systems to impact the financial success of selected departments.
  • Compile weekly reporting and develop thorough knowledge of area and regional level performance through extensive data analysis.
  • Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional partners on distribution strategies to drive sales, gross margin, and mitigate any inventory risk in season.
  • Run weekly reporting, analyze location selling, and track future receipts.
  • Optimize inventory across stores and Ecommerce through monthly transfer processes to maximize sales and turn.
  • Track and communicate timing of receipt deliveries into DCs

 

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Detailed oriented and highly organized
  • Strong strategic thinking and outstanding analytical/quantitative skills with ability to manage large amounts of data.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable partnering with many different teams
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems
  • Strong strategic thinking and outstanding analytical/quantitative skills with ability to manage large amounts of data.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred

 

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 1+ years of experience in allocation/buying/planning/inventory management
  • Experience in a sized category is a plus
