Job Title: Manager, Retail Training & Development 


Summary: The Manager, Retail Training & Development will be responsible for creating all service and selling training strategies and programs in partnership with training managers and Regionals to help drive the Stuart Weitzman brand transformation and Modern Luxury customer experience. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional training managers to design and develop onboarding, culture, product and styling training tools for Stuart Weitzman
  • Collaborate with design, merchandising, buying and the SW factories to create seasonal product training materials for shoes and handbags for our global teams
  • Build relationships with field leadership, HR and operations to assess ongoing training needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure that all materials represent the Stuart Weitzman brand voice and aesthetic
  • Lead the development and production of training videos and multimedia
  • Stay abreast of relevant events in fashion, styling, graphic design and trends to include in training content
  • Create and manage a training blog /website to communicate styling and product knowledge to stores across the globe
  • Assist with content development and planning of annual Retail Summits
  • Gather and synthesize feedback, measure effectiveness and propose enhancements to training


    Skills and Abilities Desired

  • Graphic design / instructional design and video production experience
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, learning theory and fashion
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mac and Microsoft applications; adobe creative suite


Education and Experience Required

  • 3-5 years of training and development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
