Job Title: Manager, Wholesale Planning & Operations

This position’s primary focus is to develop and improve operational efficiency to support the commercial efforts of the Stuart Weitzman’s business.  Assists our business partners to ensure maximum efficiency in:

  • Optimizing wholesale operating model and its deployment across both operations and merchandise planning
  • Reinforcing, streamlining, and simplifying business processes (challenge status quo)
  • Responsible for SAP S4 ARUN/BOP process to forecast shipment target
  • Manage, develop and motivate 2 direct reports

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Global Wholesale to…

  • Maximize revenues and efficiencies for Stuart Weitzman Wholesale business.  Own account’s requirements vs. Stuart Weitzman SLA to ensure compliance and shipment fluidity, including adhering to all Sarbanes-Oxley business controls.
  • Direct and set shipments by month/quarter and account to support the latest estimate (SMI) with Sales & Finance. Drive shipments to achieve the month, quarter, and year end objective.  Provide insights and strategy on maximizing shipment opportunities to Senior Leadership.
  • Own and manage the in-season planning process focused on open stock, model stock and pre-buy for global wholesale while partnering with sales to align on assortment offering.
  • Management of the drop ship program with domestic wholesale accounts.
  • Work to maximize cross functional relationships within Stuart Weitzman to support the current and future operational requirement.  Identify business opportunities with system and internal process enhancement (i.e., ordering tool, ATS, shipment flow, etc.)
  • Develop team structure, including roles & responsibilities.  Identify development opportunities to help drive team dynamics and structure.
  • Own order management from placement to fulfillment / on-time delivery with internal teams as well as market order management.
