Job Title: Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising Production

 

Summary

The Stuart Weitzman Visual Merchandising team is seeking a skilled Sr. Manager, VM Production to drive the 2D and 3D production and execution of regional creative requests for Stuart Weitzman stores. You will be a part of a dynamic, creative environment where you will interact with cross-functional partners to ensure that Stuart Weitzman’s global environment standards are continuously elevated. The position reports directly to the Director of Global Visual Merchandising and Environments.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Execute the 3D window production and installations for Stuart Weitzman locations upon receiving strategic direction from the creative production team
  • Manage the 2D graphic production for Stuart Weitzman locations upon receiving hi-res files and guidelines from NY creative production team
  • Source and manage suppliers to produce and install seasonal windows and graphics, ensuring quality standards are exceeded
  • Oversee creative production to ensure quality standards and timing is met.
  • Manage and take responsibility for quotation requests, order placement, budget management, purchase ordering, scheduling, and invoice management
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional departments such as marketing, merchandising, retail operations, and logistics teams with regular meetings to discuss and review project lists to ensure initiatives have been acknowledged and VM support can be delivered
  • Oversee all installations and plan installation schedule in line with delivery and other VM activity

 

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Proficiency to read floor plans, CAD drawings with a demonstrated knowledge of materials and cutting edge production techniques  
  • Ability to interface with corporate partners and outside vendors with strong communication skills and able to maintain good vendor relationships
  • Exceptional project management skills  
  • Detail oriented, flexible and comfortable with multitasking   
  • Strong initiative, ownership and accountability for business   
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency

 

Education and Experience

  • BA or BS in Art/Design with a minimum of 5+ years’ VM experience for fashion related brand
  • Experience in managing vendors and installation teams
