PRIMARY PURPOSE:

A Strategic Leadership Role who owns the Retail business for Stuart Weitzman China. Works with China General Manager to set China Retail strategy and execute it successfully; leads cross-functional initiatives to drive sales and optimize the retail operations to offer customers a truly luxury shopping experience.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITEIS/ ACCOUNTABLITIES

 

Retail Strategic Planning & Sales Target Achievement

  • Develop annual, quarterly and monthly retail sales strategies and action plans based on Stuart Weitzman China business development plans and sales growth targets.
  • Lead and manage team performance to ensure the achievement and excess of the annual, quarterly and monthly retail sales & P&L targets.
  • Identify the new sales opportunities, optimize the strategies and plans, determine key actions and recommendations through sales data analysis, market trends visibility and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, e.g. Merchandising, Marketing, VM, etc to feedback the frontline observations and give timely suggestions on products, allocation plan, promotions, marketing events…to increase the sales growth potential.
  • Build, maintain and strengthen critical relationships with key business partners and customers to support business growth and enhance brand influence.
  • Be close to the market and well know about the competitors, maintain quick reaction to the market dynamics.
  • Support organizing, planning and execution of the brand events.

 

Retail Operations Management

  • Lead the Retail Operations Team to evaluate the existing processes and develop optimization plans to support the business expansion.
  • Ensure retail operations compliance with established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives
  • Develop and optimize the sales and operations reports to make effective decisions which enhance business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to increase store profitability.
  • Ensure execution of performance management for Area, including reviews, goals, and disciplinary action process.

 

Retail Learning & Development Management

  • Lead to develop Greater China short-term and long-term retail learning & development strategies and plans to support business goals and talent development needs.
  • Building a high performing team with business integrity, the higher working standard, growth mindset and passion to win.
  • Develop and optimize the Division of Responsibility program to better support store operations and create field employee’s career paths.
  • Cultivate the next generation of retail management leaders.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s degree above
  • Around 15+ years working experience in Retail management arena from affordable luxury brands
  • Strong business acumen, sensitive to the market dynamics
  • Strong communication skill, cross functions/regions/headquarter
  • A good team player
  • Proactive, self-motivated, growth mindset
