Summary: Sales Leads drive and inspire the client and sales experiences within the boutique, through strong leadership, clienteling and productivity. They play a critical role in the business by partnering with the Store Manager to acheive growth by coaching and inspiring their team, and devising strategies to leverage the tools provided to meet sales targets and participate in people development. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • People development 
  • Partner with the store manager to develop a high powered selling team through strong coaching in the moment, feedback and leaderhsip by example 
  • Strong business acumen and awareness of key KPIS in retail and how to amplify performance through key controllables - driving both team and store metrics through creativity, constant coaching in the moment and example setting. 
  • Visual merchandising background is an asset. Must exhibit creativity and an eye for the artistry of presentation to effectively create visual stories that appeal to our market. Must effectively exhibit the ability to visually strategize when creating merchandising stories. 
  • Reliable to open and close the boutique with knowledge in cash handling procedures and must have loss prevention training
  • Partner with the store manager to build an effective team through recruiting and talent acquisition. 
  • Assist in floor sets 
  • Manage specific areas of responsiblity delivered by the store manager on a consistent basis 
  • Manage and participate in operational aspects/deadlines within the store and delgate tasks without supervision of store manager - must effectively be able to build shared direction within the team. 
  • Required to uphold a strong vision and understanding of the big picture by partnering with and aligining with other store leaders. 
  • Participate in corporate conference calls 
  • Confidence in delivering quality feedback to corporate partners on the progress and development of the business  both live and in reports.  
  • Motivate and recognize the team and their wins in order to build and stimulate success within the boutiques and throughout individual performance. 
  • Maintain and build strong professional relationships with the team 
  • Demostrate a high capcaity to build sales volume through strong client engagement, suggestive selling and closing sale techinqiues, and clienteling strategies through the use of various platforms.
  • Ability and eagnerness to lead product knowledge sessions with the team and consistently grow in expert knowledge of the brand and the product.


Skills and Abilities Required

  •  Ability to multi task and prioritize in high pressure environment 
  • Ability to adapt in leaderhsip style in order to achieve results through their reports 
  • Proven track record for building strong relationships both with internal and external clientele 
  • Ability to navigate effectively, take initiatve and support change through passion and big picture thinking 
  • Ability to be flexible with hours with a 35 hour minimum/week availability with the capacity to work up to 40 hours. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient experience in EXCEL, MICROSOFT OFFICE, POS, OUTLOOK. 
  • Billingual while not a requirement is an asset. 
  •  Uphold a growth mindset and a desire to grow and evolve. 
  • Proven ablity to perservere when dealing with ambiguity. 
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Must be readily able to lift heavy boxes, and access product on high shelves. 
  • Active listening skills

Education and Experience Required

  • High school diploma required in addition to college/university degree.
  • Minimum 1-3 years in luxury retail environment or similar setting with management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in footwear preferred.
