job title: stock supervisor

department/location: retail

report to: assistant warehouse manager

general purpose of the position: oversee the day to day support to the brand by driving operational excellence within the warehouse/offsite to elevate the customer experience and drive store productivity. supervise and develop support team and systems to provide sales staff and management with excellent front and back of house support.

essential duties and responsibilities:

 supervise staff on day to day activity, ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, shipping and use of tools and equipment.

 Supervise and coach the support and back of house staff to ensure goods are received, organized and can be placed on the floor quickly and accurately to drive customer service.

 assign and manage daily responsibilities of stock and operations associates.

 train & develop of stock associate

 stockroom & warehouse organization

 store replenishment communication

 processing and pricing all in-bound receipts

 process and organization of supplies

 loss prevention control

 manage the UPS inbound deliveries monitor to prioritize the daily workload

 be knowledgeable of stock including quantity, how many units are on hand, what is selling and what is not

 support floor moves and selling floor is stocked throughout the day

 partner with member of management in addressing performance and providing feedback

operational excellence:

audit compliance

 back of the house and front of house stock organization

 floor sets support in a timely and accurate manner

 achieve shrinkage goals

physical requirements:

ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 60 pounds

utilize support tools found in a warehouse / offsite

ability to load boxes in and out of delivery truck (offsite only)

must be able to work effectively under pressure in a high energy and high traffic environment

available to work store schedule, as needed, including evenings, weekends and holidays

standing for extended periods of time

bend / stoop

skills and abilities required:

willing to work in and promote a team oriented environment

 strong communication and interpersonal skills

 ability to multi-task, results driven and flexible to change

education and experience required:

minimum 2 to 3 year experience in a retail industry of relevant experience on day to day operations

 high school / college degree preferred
