Primary Purpose: The Allocation Analyst is responsible for allocation and replenishment activity for Kate Spade stores across Europe. The Analyst reports to the Senior Allocation Manager and partners across the business with Buying, Inventory Management, Warehouse, VM, & Store Operations teams to plan and execute accurate stock allocations and deliveries based on the needs of the business and stores.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Planning & Allocation to:
- Partner with the Product team to develop inventory strategies for initial allocations to stores and Ecommerce channels
- Ensure prompt and effective distribution of stock and ensure target store stock levels are maintained
- Analyse store sales performance and inventory to optimize replenishment. Provide weekly sales and inventory reports to the business & ad hoc reports as required
- Develop initial allocation strategies for new product launches and provide fill rate analysis to cross functional teams including Buying and VM. Manage communication of newness arrival timing at the distribution centre and stores
- Partner with Buying to develop minimum stock holding levels at the SKU level (style/size/color) to meet sales plans and VM guidelines for floor sets
- Partner with the 3PL and Store Operations teams to plan and execute allocations and deliveries
- Review style and category performance and make suggestions for the replenishment and movement of stock
- Determine appropriate inventory levels for new store openings across Europe
- Proactive approach to ensure all cross functional queries are managed efficiently
- Support allocations in absence of team members where relevant
The accomplished individual will possess:
- Previous experience/knowledge of product allocation, planning or merchandising
- Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.)
- Excellent team working skills with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships across multiple levels
- Highly organised, strong attention to detail, numeracy and time management skills
- Motivated to work towards achieving team and business objectives/goals
- Previous experience of SAP & Impact Analytics software would be beneficial
