Primary Purpose


FP&A Analyst – Kate Spade New York, based in London, will support the Finance Director and Sr. Finance Manager with the month end closing, forecasts/reporting activities and ad hoc analysis for all areas of the business (Retail, Wholesale, Ecom and Corporate) 


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare month end journal entries and accruals as well as investigate general ledger entries to ensure proper coding.
  • Weekly Sales Reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of analyses for periodic business reviews, annual budgets and long range strategic plans; where appropriate, assist in preparation of related presentations for management and provide insightful analysis upon requests.
  • Provide monthly budget/forecast to actual variance analysis and commentary.
  • Interaction and communication with various business partners.
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis.


Education & Experience


  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Pan-European experience preferable
  • Wholesale / Retail experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of International Accounting Standards. US GAAP knowledge preferable
  • Hyperion and SAP knowledge preferable
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Detail-minded with excellent communication skills.
