The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (Domestic Full Price) will play a critical role in assisting the coordination and execution of business planning, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis across the Kate Spade brand North America Full Price business. This role will provide finance support to internal business partners, providing thoughtful analysis and insight into business trends. Essential duties and responsibilities include monthly close, budgeting, long range planning and forecasting, variance analysis, decision support projects and ad hoc analysis.



  • Support the Finance Manager with ownership for the Kate Spade brand domestic full price stores and ecommerce site
  • Develop monthly financial forecasts that accurately predict channel performance; analyze and interpret variances to prior forecast, budget and prior year performance
  • Work closely with the Planning team during the monthly forecasting process to ensure a proper understanding of the sales and margin components of the domestic full price forecast submissions
  • Prepare weekly and/or ad hoc snapshots of how the Kate Spade domestic full price channels are performing
  • Identify and communicate key risks and opportunities in the domestic full price business
  • Assist in monthly financial close; deliver accurate financial results by performing a comprehensive analysis of key expense line items
  • Provide Finance Manager with pacing updates during monthly closes, tracking expected results against prior forecast
  • Provide financial analysis support to internal FP&A team when appropriate; Compile backup documentation and detailed bridges to help influence decision making and inform leadership of underlying trends
  • Work closely with the production, visual and construction teams to track and apply appropriate accounting treatment for capital expenditures
  • Coordinate and lead monthly expense reviews with business partners to ensure financial targets are being achieved
  • Articulate financial concepts to non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
  • Develop and maintain monthly forecast and close packages, as appropriate
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives



  • Highly detail oriented, motivated self-starter with strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new and different topics
  • Ability to identify business needs and process improvements based on trends, propose solutions and manage cross-functional projects to completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SAP, PBCS, Microstrategy, BuyingHub and Think-cell knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • 1-3 years of Finance or related experience
  • P&L Budgeting / Forecasting / Analysis experience preferred
  • Consumer Products / Retail experience a plus
