Job Title: Print and Novelty Designer

Primary Purpose: The Designer, Print and Novelty plays an essential role in maintaining the creative vibrancy of the Kate Spade & Company product. They help determine the creative look and feel of products in all categories through the design and art direction of graphics and illustrations that support the seasonal vision. The ideal candidate is a highly creative individual who welcomes the opportunity to design across multiple channels, work in a highly collaborative team environment, and embrace change as the brand grows and develops.

 

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in design to...

  • Design and art direct graphics and illustrations for all product categories, including apparel, handbags, scarves, and jewelry.
  • Partner on concept ideation of seasonal assortments
  • Contribute to and take conceptual direction and help to transform to a commercial product
  • Manage concept communications and lead cross-functional relationships to ensure novelty direction and our brand's graphic language is consistent and appropriate throughout all product channels.
