Overview: The Senior Analyst, Accounting will leverage their proficiency in accounting to:

 

  • Manage month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation, reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts 
  • Work closely with FP&A and other business partners to understand business initiatives and the accounting impact thereof
  • Work closely with Tapestry Corporate Accounting to evaluate KS-related processes performed by Tapestry Accounting
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assisting with requests from internal and external auditors
  • Assist in preparation of semi-quarterly business analyses for Management’s review
  • Aid in special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested from internal and external businesses

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience
  • SAP experience  
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player who works extremely well in a collaborative environment
  • Attention to detail and delivery focused
  • Self-starter and strong desire to learn
  • Ability to multi task and strong organizational skills
  • Strong pc skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Public Accounting experience (preferably Big Four experience) 
  • Corporate retail or wholesale experience
