Primary Purpose:
Launch to date, kate spade new york now has 3 touch points of ecom that covers tmall and brand sites. E-commerce team works with digital, PR, merchandising and other functions to continue building strong online experience and business.
Objective of this role is to explore kate spade brand site business and reinforce the brand site performance. He or she will lead annual plan, assortment strategy, promotion plan and oversee daily operations to enhance brand awareness and create incremental sales.
Key Roles and Responsibilities will include:
Strategy and Planning
- Work with Sr. Manager, eCommerce to develop and execute brand site strategies, annual plans and activities to achieve sales target, build brand awareness and recruit new customers.
- Closely work with merchandising team to manage assortment plan, inventory, promotion plan, regular analysis and continue optimize to meet business needs.
- Work with Digital Marketing, PR to plan, design and implement yearly/quarterly/monthly stores campaign calendar based on yearly target and phasing. Take special care on online shopping festivals: 3.8/6.18/11.11/12.12 etc.
Operation
- Work with external vendors on daily operation. Make sure page, price, campaign, promotion, customer service etc. properly run.
- Work very close with local mkt team and global mkt team to manage content calendar and well adapted into brand site Marketing calendar with localization idea, products and activities
- Oversee store daily Live streaming operations, including Live Streaming execution, animations, products, content creation.
- Seek opportunity to constantly optimize traffic and conversion in terms of content marketing, live stream, UX optimization, paid media, owned media, trade resource from platform.
- Be sensitive on industry trend, competitor movement, related intelligence and business opportunity.
- Data analysis and regular reports compiling
Financial & Others
- Be a contact window to finance, logistic and IT and conduct regular review to make sure back-end service level.
- Responsible for brand site store sales target and P&L
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Minimum 5 years’ e-Commerce experience, Fashion and Luxury industry is preferred.
- Bachelor degree or above.
- Contents, assets creation and live streaming experience is required.
- Leadership with goal oriented working mentality.
- Strong management skills especially experienced in managing vendors.
- Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills - with proven ability to manage multiple tasks
- In-depth understanding of ecommerce game rules especially in marketplace environment.
- Hands on experience with E-com store operation and familiar with backend tools.
- Strong business sense and being data driven.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
